RAINFOREST HOLIDAY 6 DAY JUNGLE SURVIVOR EXPEDITION

JUNGLE SURVIVAL

Join us on a 6 day, 5 night trek through the tropical rainforest of the Gunung Leuser National Park to search for endangered wildlife, learn jungle survival skills and raft down the rapids of the Bohorok River.

During this 6day/5night trek you will learn traditional jungle survival skills whilst trekking through tropical rainforest. You will change camps 2 or 3 times and as the trek progresses you will become more involved in setting up camp and helping cook dinner over a wood fire. There will be one day where you can relax at your campsite and practise your skills such as collecting rainforest vegetables and building a shelter from leaves and branches. You will also have a chance for dusk and dawn stakeouts at the 'uning pool' which is a natural mineral and kaolin pool that can attract rainforest animals. During the whole trek you will be training your 'jungle eyes' to spot signs of the rainforest inhabitants. After your last night in the forest you will return to Bukit Lawang by an exhilarating raft ride along the Bohorok river.
